Friday Favorites.

I can't believe it's already Friday. Last week at this time I was rushing around trying to pack for Oregon. It feels like that was only a couple of days ago. Well here it is- a roundup of my five favorite things from around the web this week.

I am beyond in love with this art print from Leilani Joy Art. Since I can't yet afford to buy original art at this point in my life, I've been looking around for prints I'd like to decorate my home with. This one is pretty high on the list.

Sparkly by Young Magic. Obsessed, obsessed, obsessed.

Obviously I've been thinking about decorating, even though I've been away from home. These clay leaf bowls will be the perfect project for when I get back. The how-to can be found here, on Urban Comfort.

You may or may not be aware that Mercury went into retrograde yesterday, on 2/6. If things have started to seem a bit wonky, and communication is going a muck, this would explain why. Luckily Gala Darling has put together a list of 10 magical ways to make the most of mercury retrograde, proving that it isn't something to be feared!

With so many milks on the market today, it can be hard to decide which on is the best for you. (Think about it- dairy, coconut, almond, soy, hemp, etc!) This article over at the Free People blog does a great job of breaking down the pros and cons of each, so you can make the right choice based on your own personal needs.

Young & Baroque

(Daisy hairband- DIY/ $ Earrings- F21/ Jacket- La Lune Vintage/ Jeans- H&M)

For whatever reason my head is incredibly dizzy today, creating unbelievable writers block. You can see I keep using this bundle of daisies to accessorize. One might say I'm addicted. Maybe thats why my head is spinning- I'm having daisy withdrawals.

Red Velvet

Dress: La Lune

This dress is from my little online vintage shop, La Lune. I have hand picked a ton of great items, and slowly but surely they are getting uploaded into the store. Its hard to say what my favorite part of this starting this shop has been so far. I love the hunt and excitement of finding great pieces. And I really enjoy styling them and imagining all the other possible ways they could be styled. So it's probably a toss up between those two.  It's new enough that it hasn't "paid" off in the literal sense (or should I say cents), however to me the payoff is watching it grow and seeing that people are liking what they see. I chose to be simple with the styling since the main reason for these pictures is to show of the dress itself, however I think it would look super rad with combat boots, ripped up tights, and a leather jacket as well. How would you style this?

Etsy Gift Guide

The holidays are my favorite time of year. I love it all. The lights, the cheesy music, time spent with family and friends, desserts, the red Starbucks cups, and holiday themed everything. I really could go on and on, but then I’d cut into my time watching the past Gossip Girl Christmas specials. So yes, you could add TV Christmas specials to my list of holiday favorites. No shame!

I always have so much fun picking out fun gifts for friends and family. If you’re stumped feel free to take a look at this etsy gift guide I’ve come up with. The great thing about getting gifts from etsy, is the likely hood they already have it is slim, and It’s always good to support the artists and small (often one man run) businesses out there. And everything on this gift guide is budget friendly, being under $50. In fact most is under $25. Hope you enjoy. I know that these are all thing I'd love to give or to receive.
