Looking back on 2013.

 Some of the looks I shot in 2013 with the intent to post-but never quite got to it. This year will be a new chapter. Prioritizing my blog more. And keeping up to date when I shoot. Would love to hear which of these looks is your favorite. Let me know in the comments. ;)

I had this flannel in a giveaway pile, since I wasn't really digging the fit. But then I decided I wanted to jump on the flannel around the waist bandwagon. & an ill fitting flannel with good colors was perfect. I think I'll keep this flannel around awhile. On another note, I got sent this lip pencil to sample. I literally started wearing it everyday for like a week straight. I love the color; and it lasts forever. Dope Krunk

I love exploring new looks. Recently I've been inspired by Hip Hop and the 90's. Though my style is always changing, I have noticed one constant. My outfits frequently have a piece of my boho past, sometimes in bigger ways than others. I feel this outfit really gives of a hip-hop gypsy vibe, that I dig.

The little black dress has been a staple in every woman's wardrobe since Audrey Hepburn rocked it in "Breakfast at Tiffany's". These days there are so many variations and ways to wear your lbd. You can dress them up or down. Wear them short or long. Layer them, or wear them alone. I think I will never get bored of styling little black dresses, and I have a feeling fashion won't be getting bored of them either.

Sidenote: Oh man. Don't even want to get started on my weekend. My phone got stolen Friday night & by Monday night I was able to recover it. Amazed. So, fellow iPhone users, get that Find My iPhone app, & keep that shit on! I wouldn't have my phone if it weren't for that app. 

 This is a skirt I've had since 2010. It has honestly hardly been worn, despite all the time I've owned it. Lately I'm trying to "go shopping" in my closet, and pull the hidden gems out of the back to mix into my wardrobe. Wearing almost head to toe Forever 21 was totally unintentional, I didn't even realize it until I started taking the outfit photos, since I'd purchased the items at separate times. (Separate years even!) But I shouldn't be as surprised as I am, I've shopped there quite a bit in my time.
