Modmint is a cute little shop here on the web and they’d like me to share some of my favorites with you. I absolutely love this Aztec cuff, and feel like it would look good with just about anything. These earrings caught my eye, as most oversized chandelier earrings do. I have so many pairs, it might be a problem. I feel like these are a bit fancier then most of mine, which tend to lean more toward casual. However I plan to keep fancy in mind in my accessory shopping. Cold weather tends to make me want to dress up. & the sweater is perfect. Leggings and oversized sweaters a cold weather go-to for comfy days sipping hot cider.

As soon as I saw this dress, I figured it would be perfect for Halloween. It’s very nautical, and would work well paired with a sailor hat, red lipstick, and some black pumps. Or to go more modern and less pin-up esqu, throw on some boat shoes and a blazer. I already have some other costume ideas in mind but still wanted to put this one out there.

& I'd love to know some of your Halloween ideas.

Top Knot & Drop It.

Since most of my posts have revolved around style here is a glimpse into my life. Random Seattle U party. I don't attend the school, but somehow ended up at one of the parties.

What's in my bag

I love this vintage tapestry bag I inherited from my grandmother. However I am a bit limited about what I can stash into it, as I have become quite accustomed to oversize bags. Therefore I pick and choose wisely. My shoulder loves the benefit of the occasional lightly packed purse.

For the most part this bag contains the essentials. Things that I always carry with me. A travel sized lotion is one of them, so I can continue moisturizing my hands throughout the day. I love this Tuscan Blood Orange body butter by Pacifica. It is all natural, made in the northwest, and a portion of proceeds support clean water. So it is an all around win. I've also lately been hooked on rollerball perfumes. I switch my fragrance depending on my moods. Currently I am carrying  patchouli essential oil,  & Lady Million by Paco Rabanne rollerball. I always have Burts Bee's chapstick, and a book do read during any downtime. Just finished, and loved Wondeful Tonight by Pattie Boyd, a memoir by the ex wife & muse of  both George Harrison and Eric Clapton. As I am obsessed with both the sixties, and the excessive life of the classic rock stars, I felt this book was a must read. The Hello Kitty Wallet was a gift, and I love that it has a million compartments, as I keep way to much, it allows me a form of organization.I'm also carrying a palo santo smudge stick. Smells amazing, I got this one at a festival, but it can also be found here.

So there you have it. The current, yet always changing, contents of my bag.

 Dress- NastyGal
Hat- Thrifted
Purse- Grandmothers Closet
Boots- Gifted
Bangles- Papaya Living
Ring- Gifted
Earrings- Forever 21

I often match my fragrance to my outfit. I felt very 1960's in this Joplin dress, with cowboy boots and a tapestry bag. So I decided to go for patchouli. Lots of patchouli. And then I began to forget that I was living in 2012, and kept imagining myself dancing at Woodstock, with flowers in my hair... The purse was one of the many amazing items of vintage clothing I've inherited from may grandmother, Loretta Mae. In fact I've inherited an abundance of pieces from both of my grandmothers, and I must say, the ladies had taste.

Making a conscious effort to get as much wear out of my summer pieces as possible before the cold weather hits, although I'm a bit eager for cool enough weather to wear the sweater I thrifted for $2 today.
