Patchouli

 Dress- NastyGal
Hat- Thrifted
Purse- Grandmothers Closet
Boots- Gifted
Bangles- Papaya Living
Ring- Gifted
Earrings- Forever 21

I often match my fragrance to my outfit. I felt very 1960's in this Joplin dress, with cowboy boots and a tapestry bag. So I decided to go for patchouli. Lots of patchouli. And then I began to forget that I was living in 2012, and kept imagining myself dancing at Woodstock, with flowers in my hair... The purse was one of the many amazing items of vintage clothing I've inherited from may grandmother, Loretta Mae. In fact I've inherited an abundance of pieces from both of my grandmothers, and I must say, the ladies had taste.

Making a conscious effort to get as much wear out of my summer pieces as possible before the cold weather hits, although I'm a bit eager for cool enough weather to wear the sweater I thrifted for $2 today.

  8. LOVE that dress and you wear it so well! I totally know what you mean about getting use out of summer pieces before fall hits. As much as I want the weather to cool down, I feel like I still want to wear my summer clothes a bit more!

    1. Lately I've been finding all the ways I can to wear them into fall, since it has been getting chilly here. I have no problem putting away my winter clothes come summer, but I just can't seem to put my summer clothes away!
